Bike > Chevy Malibu

Some of the highlights of the week:
Our car broke down on Wednesday after we got back from a service project, so we spent the rest of the day on bike! We were able to get the car back on Thursday and we honestly didn't miss too much because some of the people we were going to visit, were in the hospital or out of town.

We were able to do a lot of street contacting this week as we are trying to find some new families to teach. We were able to teach the Ortiz family this week, which consists of a mother and her 13 year old son. They have some friends who are members of the church and have been taught by missionaries in the past. They are on date for baptism for the 8th of June!

There is a couple that was on date for the 25th of May when I got here, but they were some of the people that were in the hospital pretty much the whole week, so hopefully I'll get to meet them this week!

We worked with a few families that are recent converts and planned our dinners to be with them. On Sunday, we had some street food (Huaraches) that is typical to D.F. (Mexico City) with the Orozco family. The Orozco family were all baptized last month and have already gone to the temple, so they are killing it.

We had a confirmation on Sunday for a woman named Sonia. Her aunt is a member of the church and she has been there in all the lessons, so she has some pretty good support! She should progress pretty fast to the temple because the ward is really good about making that transition.

Saturday we had a service project with the whole zone as part of Keep Riverside Clean!
